Linux Mint 18.1 Xfce and KDE Released

Linux Mint 18.1 Xfce and KDE Editions have been released and are now available to download.
This release ships with Linux kernel 4.4.0-53 and contains many improvements.
Linux Mint 18.1 is supported until 2021 and is based on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Users running Linux Mint 18 can, upgrade to the latest version using the Update Manager > Edit > Upgrade to Linux Mint 18.1.
