How To Install Budgie Desktop on Ubuntu/Linux Mint


If you bored with your current desktop environment and want to try something new? Try Budgie Desktop.!
It is a modern GTK-based desktop that was written from scratch.
The main Focus of Budgie desktop is simplicity and elegance.
Budgie is the default Desktop environment of Solus Operating System. Also Ubuntu Budgie is now officially an Ubuntu flavor.
To install Budgie Desktop on Ubuntu/Linux Mint open the Terminal and run the following commands.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:budgie-remix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install budgie-desktop-environment

After installing Budgie-desktop, log out and select Budgie Desktop from the login screen menu.
